umm well the first time i saw this i thought you did something differnt with the right hand i thought you went? E then low B and high B so now i just looked at it to see if i could make anychanges to it and i saw it.. it seems easier and it still sounds great so if people cant get that down try that (sorry im not a piano player i just looked this up on youtube)

This really helped me learn how to play this song, me and my brothers are hoping to play for over 200 people at a friends&family BBQ. lets just hope i can get this down pat soon so we can. I normally have trouble reading and memorizing sheet music so that's why i went seeking help from Youtube but you really helped me learn it? quick and easier thanks a lot :) can you do a tutorial for trains song "this ain't goodbye" that would be greatly appreciated if you have the time.

To date,? i don't believe a song has ever reached out and actually made me cry before. Its such a simple melody, but at the same time, its so deep, it has so much feeling into it, its such a pure tone. Everything about it makes the song so very beatuiful. Yeah it's actually not that hard, now I know everyone is at different levels, but once you get? the basic chords down it's easy. All that other fancy stuff he throws in is simple, it's mostly a buncha single notes within the chord or it's single notes in the inversions of the chord. So it's fairly simple.

@4EVERIKUTO It's called Synthesia (I think that's how it's spelled, at least)? and is free to download. You still need a keyboard, though, to plug in and play it with. I highly reccomend it if you're trying to learn Piano.

You just start playing the small songs from your own books for beginners, and then you can take a few steps higher and go to the real music sheets. =3 I've been playing for five years now, and I'm really wanting to play Kokoro after that I've finished God Knows by Aya Hirano and The Legend Comes to Life from the second Pokémon movie. ...Heck, I'm starting to blab? a bit. Just take piano lessons if you want to play it! ^^ I recommend it!

@JigglyRose I would have a hard time too if I weren't following the sheets. The method is imitation, so focus on my fingers. Its pretty simple, just imagine if your in the key of C like in this piece, then C would be 1, D 2, E 3 etc. Its really good, used a lot in music anthology, like perfect cadences almost always end in 5 1, and the chords 1 4 5 all go well together etc its useful? when writing music.

@zmw96 my levels (my guess) correspond to the number of years one has been playing piano. ability varies from person to? person, so it is impossible to be exact. give the piece a try, if you find it too difficult, practice an easier piece and come back to this later. have fun :)

@klumpster11 i have no idea whether this version is "real". yours actually sounds more exciting :) does it have an arranger's name? try to stress the first beat of the 5 vs 6. i made a tutorial on? how to play x notes against y notes (website "scales and more" in menu bar), but timing need not be precise on romantic music. perhaps a viewer will lead you to this score. good luck.

Reason I'm asking is that my version has several places where the left-hand arpeggios are six notes and the right hand has five notes against those six. Your version seems to have all notes played together which is easier and I'd love? to have that version...i can't quite wrap my head around five against six :)

@ProtestantLie you're right they aren't necessarily for beginners, but if you understand chord progression and different keys and basic technique you can? learn all of these videos fairly easily with a little hard work and practice. Even if you are a true beginner, these videos can still provide "instruction" and make it MUCH EASIER to learn. Definitely not simply "showing off" at all, although you can't help but notice that because the guy playing is a hardened professional with the instrument

If you actually listen to the song? this isn't what elton plays at all. Since he's usually busy singing and playing at the same time he makes his songs much simpler to play. The riff this guy is playing in the video is largely played on a accordion.

For the most part, these videos are less "instruction" and more "showing off". At first glance, you get the distinct impression that they're geared toward beginners; however,? you need to be moderately advanced to get anything substantive from them. It's nothing more than the "Piano Mutual Admiration Society".
