Is this the same Joe Edwards that did some travelling with Martha Carson back in the Mid 1950s? I? drove all the way to Sunset Park in PA just to hear them. At that time Sunset Park was a great place to go but it was about 150 miles away. I went up there twice more, once again in 1956 to see Hank Thompson and again in l968 to see Merle Travis. Now you know what kind of guitar I like.

I'm very much aware of your personal input here, but am I right if I state that the 705's are also largely responsible for that? lush tone? Thanks for the great video. I knew Tim back in the 80s in Ashland KY - he was a child prodigy! He? could play anything - banjo, guitar, piano, etc. and was destined for Nashville from birth. A really great guy too, i wish we had more of him on youtube! (got any more?)
