@hastyberford they do belive it or not,everything about the guitar is all about his experience. the neck is unfinished so it breaths beter and your natural hand oils go into it and make it feel amazing! and the cavaties are made to take weight out of the guitar and let the air age the guitar nicely the frets are stainless steel... every little thing, just like eddy said, is about what he knows and? has experienced over 40 years of? playing.

This just confirms that EVH is no businessman. He and his brother destroyed Van Halen when they were the biggest band in the world, all so they could "be in charge" and flex their egos. As for this $3,000 guitar, I have a Samick Avion that sounds better, and I paid $300 bucks for it brand new. You can have every genius guitar tech? on earth at your disposal, and still not come close to accomplishing what one man did by himself, as this proves. Sometimes more is less and less is more.

Anyone who says EVH's current setup sounds better than his old rig is either blinded by their love of his playing, or just flat out ignorant about sound altogether. If you look at the live clips of Eddie in concert recently and then compare them to the ones from about 1995 and back,? there is absolutely NO comparison. His former sound is absoutely enveloping and enormous, and his current rig sounds as if it's coming out of a tin can. Eddie on his own = awesome. Eddie with hangers on = crap.

@bassman50fender I got your point but it would be more? efficient if they make the ZNR available both for the patch/parameter mode or in global patch mode. In this way, you dont have to use one of the parameters just for the ZNR. I dont usually use the ZNR for TS/OD or clean amp settings but sometimes I use my trusty Strat w/ single coil from which is quite noisy on some cases and I dont want to mess my live patch settings just to add a ZNR.

@rschua7 They should really add a TON of more options to the ZNR module. It doesn't need to be global though, I have a G9 and I can tell you that on? MOST of my patches, the noise gate is full off. On some, I use the DirtyGate module, and on one or two I have ZNR on. the DirtyGate only goes on my Metal/Djent patches. ZNR goes on the more noisy patches like my Marshall 1959 emulator with booster, and the rest of them have no noise redux. It's not necessary with the low SNR Zoom offers.

@2020jonnybravo I have the same issue with the zoom G3.Why? cant they make the noise gate/ZNR added to the Global settings for each patch just like the Line 6 M9/M13? I dont know if the designer is out of his mind or he's not a musician at all when he designed this unit?I have both the G3 and the Line 6 M9 & I think it's very clever for the Line 6 guys adding the NoiseGate avail both in global & in stompbox mode so user can have the option how he wants to use the noisegate efx.

@2020jonnybravo What if i want another effect? like a nice chorus, or flanger/phaser. Ive been sacrificing the noise gate on my G3 to have my nice light reverb or chorus. At least there are 2 in 1 effects. Also with cleans. I like my cleans? with a nice slow chorus, a light flanger and obvisouly a reverb or a delay. I cant use all of that in my G3. I would have liked at least a noise gate already integrated, like and option everytime you make a patch. like a switch or something

@2020jonnybravo The red one is for bass guitar, the B3. I know, I got my G3 recently, when i heard this I got mad. Like buing an Apple product mad haha. But its still not that good you know, only 4 effects in loop. If you are making a distortion patch you might need and EQ, in my case I need? one because of my stock Pups. If you are making it heavily distorted you might wanna add a noise gate. then the distortion per se, and i like adding a light reverb. Next comment down.no space

Its audio basically you usually go guitar to amp then have an external mic on your? cab but this will allow you to plug right into a mixer. eliminating the need to mic a cab.. kinda useless unless you are recording to a computer. just get an Rc 50. loopstation.

I think the biggest problem is that you can't do subtle (1/4 and 1/2 step) bends.? Look at how hard he had to bend the string to get a 1/2 to one step bend.

One of PGS? older video's shows their recording process, amazing. They use High End Fender amps and Royer Ribbon Mics to start with :-)

I wish pedal makers? would stop making combo pedals with overdrive/boost and compression/boost. I already have 2 pedals that do both compression/boost and overdrive/boost but you cant buy the same overdrive pedal or compression pedal without the boost funtion. I love egnater gear, but will have to pass on either of these pedals unless your can JUST buy the overdrive pedals in the future....... J5

@DeanGuitarsVideos The FACT is dean the marketing guy said "get your pull" after introducing rusty cooley's line of sig guitars. "Get your pull" is a dime thing. The fact that your out sourcing so many guitars and making so many instruments "that were inpired by him" is not making you look like a company that just builds great guitars. It was fine in the begining? but now as the years go on it's starts to make you look like a company that is using his good name for capital gains. THAT is all.

@DeanGuitarsVideos as is every other companies for cheaper models, Rusty's a mutual friend from when I did graphic design, its not like I hate Dean the Korean plants do amazing fret work but on Rusties guitars they? need a new graphic on the body, the back was a nice touch but a simple color tint I could do in my sleep, I'd love to shoot some ideas to the Dean USA custom shops though for future models to crazy ideas i may patent.

@Digideus We are making the? best guitars we have made in many years. We've taken great stride in the last few years to dial in our quality, we know that our guitars have to be awesome. As for pricing, some guitars have a lot into them (higher end components, better wood etc) and thus the price reflects that. If you want a $119.00 guitar we make those also, but don't expect it to play like an $800 guitar. However, many of our $600 guitars play as well as other brands $1000 guitars.

@beefhasslehoff totally right. they were actually out of business when Pantera was getting huge, and Dime had to always look for new Deans in pawn shops when he was on tour. i read that fans would bring them to shows and backstage if Dime saw one that he liked, he'd get management to pay cash - sometimes as much as 2000 for a used ML. then Dean started his company again due to the new demand (thanks to? Dime), and they've milked him ever since....it's a fanboy guitar. total bullshit.

Dimebag started playing Deans in the early 1980's and by the time Pantera became famous in the 90's, Dean had gone out of business and stopped making ML's, which is why he made his Washburn "Dime" series modeled after Dean from 1996-2003 when Dean came back and he switched back to Dean shortly before his death.

Virtually brand new other than the strings being old, that guitar did not sound, look, or feel any better than other guitars I've played. In fact it sounded worse so I traded it for an esp eclipse. Much better guitars. So what if they copied gibsons designs, esp makes better quality guitars for an affordable price. Esp makes the best guitars in my opinion

I have a USA Gibson LP, USA Strat, and a Martin HD-28 and a Music Man JP-6 I just need a Tele to round out the collection. But I would buy a PRS SE in a heart beat? if I liked it. They are set at a reasonable cost. And well made.

I have a digitech gnx 3000 muiltieffects unit and its a workstation but i still prefer stomp boxes because i get to choose what stomp boxes i want for instance if i want the boss chours but i want a black label society overdrive and i want a zakk wylde dunlop cry baby wah you get? exactly what you want bur muiltieffects are more convenient for being on the road all the time but thats just my opionion its what sounds best tom your hears.

I have not yet found an amp to home playing,that is better than the AC4TV with 10 inch Celestion.Together with a Line 6 2.0 to give a little reverb and delay,its the best yet.You can play very silent,but with? same tone as if you had a bigger tubeamp on 10.Great stuff.To gigs,an AC 30 with an extra 4 12 inch Celestions cabinet of course

It's going to be useless doing drop tunings (also very popular) with 9's rendering the whole point of a robot guitar to tune your guitar to different tuning invalid.

I have seen some of the crappiest line 6 stuff sound amazing with the right person who knows how to set it up correctly. they all have the potential to sound great. @GuitaristAidan Err... that's not true at all. It just corrects tuning. It doesn't play the guitar for you. A lame guitarist with this guitar will still be just as lame, he'll just be in tune. It's actually super useful. No more having to constantly tune. You'll be in perfect tune always. Good guitarists will? use this technology to go even further. @36huntersn I use 10s for E standard and pretty much every open blues tuning, I only use drop d for drop tunings. Personally I don't listen to any bands that use drop tunings so that's not an issue for myself. And its been this way for the last? 13 years, its all based on the musicians preference and I like nice and lose strings for long and high bends, but that's just me.
