Cat contributed a great deal to the music industry and this song "The Wind" is only one of his many all time best work and masterpieces. He was an incredible artist? back then and still an extraordinary person with a good character today. He doesn't ask a lot for himself yet he has given his good heart. In the past, he was known for his countless charitable acts. He sold almost all of his special and signature guitars(I wouldn't be surprised if one of them was a Guild guitar).

@devilmas1 some people have more luck on certain strings...try digging in more as the lower strings are looser (less tension)...if you can get them somewhere at least you're in? good shape

@3010smejo nothing comes to mind - might be based on where you fret - so the distance between where you pick - try picking at different spots near the pickups or move your fretting hand to? other frets

@RammsCarvalho yeah it depends where you fret and pick, over time you might remember some areas that work (adjust picking location based on the fret) or do? a quick adjustment if you don't get a squeal the first time if you are improvising

Sorry file, oxi... I try to memorize my songs so I do not have to revert to Tabs every time I have a problem and it also helps develop the "musical-ear". Like in this Video I have made up a small intro of my own and mixed it with the standard Chords of this song which are also used? in other Similar style songs as this one. I hope these Videos are enough to help you learn it friend. Memory is always the best way to go at it.? (Muscle memory.) God Bless!

You're the greatest! Although I must confess I cheated on the 2nd chord. You see, my pinky is shorter than the usual so what I did was I put my 1rst finger on the 1rst thread of the G string, my middle finger on the 2nd? thread of the D string, and my ring fingr on the 2nd thread of the B string. That way I can do the base on the D string. Doesn't sound as nice as the "real" thing, but I get a similar sound without losing my mind (or my pinky XD).

@des01700 Not all of them,? for example the octatonic a.k.a diminished scale has a flattened 5th, which I assume is called the minor 5th either way its not a perfect 5. The formulas stay the same in any key if thats what you meant, like the major scale will always be 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 in any key and the natural minor scale will always be 1,2,b3,4,5,b6,b7 in any key. i strum the intro a little different, i? go D, D, D, U, D, U, D, U, U, D. or something like that. i just strum what sounds good. and it feels weird to just do a continuous D, U, D pattern. so ya if anyone else tries the same pattern as me, what i used is Not completely accurate too how i play it. so experiment.

@ignace52jx BTW i am considered legally blind with my vision problem of retinitis pigmentosia. I have very limited vision. The central vision is fair but the periphial is gone. Even though my eyes are that bad i still see the video clearly enough to see my hands. Did my hand slip out of view for a few seconds? Then i am sorry. I know? it might be easier for some of you if i had big jumbo position markers (dots) on the fretboard but this guitar does not have them. Sorry.

Try playing it backwards starting on the D chord? then the E chord then to the A chord to get the movement and try keeping your 3rd finger on the same string practice the movement without strumming. Keep trying it will come to you after a bit
