itunes.apple.com "Even Flow" by Pearl Jam. This is just an awesome song. Always turn it up when I hear it on the radio.. it rocks. Even though it came out in '91, it feels like an old classic rock song with a heavier edge. As usual, I did this by ear so it's not exact in some spots; but close enough for me. It's also dropped D tuning, so it's DADGBe. Hope y'all enjoy.

@themoose213 A good player will know how to compensate with a "bad guitar", keeping in mind the feel and action you can work with what ya got. But a solid guitar is always best. I guess my point is you can have a squier and make it sound just as good as a real strat, I"ve? seen it been done I'm sure many of you have as well.

@72david72lp Yeah, but not nearly as much as the player. The difference in the importance is practically astronomical. Like he said a guitar is just finely carved pieces of wood equipped with electronics(not too? complex either), and strings. And that goes for every guitar, keep in mind I say this with no regards to heavily modded axes.

Why get the exact tone if you can just make the song yours.. ? Zakk Wylde did not copied Randy's tone, still he is very influenced guitarist.. Hey I'm not a professional, I don't even have my own tone, as long it sounds good that's fine with me..

The most unique thing about Jimi's technique is that it was never repetitive. Gypsy Eye's perfectly illustrates: even Jimi's bass line would never hold more than three bars before it'd shift into a lead. The driving rhythm beginning @ 1:25 represented change within constant change: the whole demanding constant attention from even the most detached audiophile. But, to? actually see it performed? Wow! Even Jimi's signature thumb bar.

Just been watching this concert. Jimi's sound was realy fuzzy early in his experience days, so I wacked the RM Axis Fuzz right up to get that creamy distortion. I'm using my new 60's player strat on this clip.

@stratojetb47 This question was? asked at one time. Steve has an old programmable Modulated Digital Delay Pedal, made by Ibanez. So it's capable of Echo's, Chorus, Flanges and anything in-between. The sound at the end you hear, is somewhere between a chorus and flange setting with a high speed rate. .

RIP !!! Yavuz Çetin (1970 - August 15, 2001) was a Turkish guitar player. He was born in Samsun, Turkey. He played in the style of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Due to deep depression and difficulties to stand the frenetic city life, on August 15, 2001, he committed suicide by jumping from the Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul.
